Description: Considering the age of this vase, I think it looks beautiful. There is some evidence of aging on the raised gold painted areas. One side of the vase has flowers, outlined in raised gold paint, and the other side has a single flower that has gold paint outlining it, but it is not raised . The leaves look beautiful with minimal signs of aging. The areas with luster paint are in good condition with some signs of age. I do not see any crazing. The vase is signed with the elephant symbol and made in Japan. The elephant symbol is hardly found today in Japan. Please look carefully at my pictures and ask me any questions that you may have about the condition of the vase. The inside of the vase is dirty from use.
