Description: Vintage Haviland Limoges Maple Leaf China 8-setting 56-pc set c. 1920s NEAR MINT This 56-piece fine China set is in excellent condition. With the caveat that I am not an expert: I do not see any obvious chipping or even crazing, except for one repaired crack on the bottom of a handle of the sugar bowl (see photo). The gilding is generally in excellent condition, but with some moments of wear; I included photos of those I noticed, as well as some of the intact gilding. Perimeters of all other pieces (plates, cup, bowls) look intact to me. There is some variation in the hand-painting of the pattern on these, which I tried to capture in the photos. 56 pieces in total, including 10 serving pieces (8 + 2 lids) Set includes: 8x dinner plates8x side plates large (dessert/salad)8x side plates smaller (bread)6x bowls 8x saucers 8x cups 1x sugar bowl1x creamer1x gravy bowl with attached plate/saucer1x medium service plate/bowl2x service platters (large, x-large) 1x round serving bowl with lid1x oval serving bowl with lid I will package everything with lots of packing foam and bubble wrap, plus smaller cardboard boxes for cups. Contents will be insured unless you request otherwise. Although I am not set up for automatic returns, in the event of breakage I have always worked with the buyer for a return or refund. That having been said I have *significantly* increased my packing protocols since the last breakage and haven't had issues since.
