Description: If you are at all like we are, we get really hung up on wearing boots from September to April but your most beloved Ann Demeulemeesters can turn into a nasty pair of trash if you keep wearing them in the winter. Salt and snow is plain old bad for leather but does that mean you need to walk around for half of the year in L.L. Bean duck boots? Or Hunters like every. other. woman? If the thought of hideous shoes is one of the worst parts of winter, not to be improved by the notion of deep, white snow or a crackling fire, you gotta find an alternative. Some brilliant designer at Andrew Geller came up with these (and their sister wedge-heeled version) in the 70s and women knew a fabulous thing when they saw it. No more flat, unflattering boots with a change of shoes in your bag. No more splurging for a high dollar coat only to be forced to wear it with something Yeti sheds in spring. High heeled rubber boots, lined in a thin layer of fleece, that are foul weather friendly and still stylish in black with non-skid soles and the best part is that the toe is the right shape and the heel is the right pitch - these are nice boots! A more slender, slightly higher heel and much slimmer through the calf than all the copies that have been made over the past twenty years (Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Marni...). Faux welted seam detail and 3" heels, they are one continuous piece of molded rubber so they will not let any water in. Slip-on, they're marked 9 but I am recommedning a half size down to 8.5. in Excellent condition with the exception of a few scuffs. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know. I am always happy to help.
