Description: 50s Oatmeal Brown Wool Wasp Waist Peplum XXS Skirt Suit Details: - tiny wasp waist - large full circle peplum accentuates wasp waist - flipped spread sleeve cuff - narrow pencil skirt - wool is an oatmeal color of brown with cream and in person it is slightly lighter than the images show - jacket fully lined - skirt back half lining with silk - top bow at peter pan collar - skirt may have been altered smaller for original owner as there is so much excess fabric in seam allowance so this could easily be let out to a 26" waist so please see image of skirt lying flat inside out - best for XXS with skirt at current measurements but please see full measurements to determine best fit Closure: 5 buttons on jacket along with hook and eye closure, skirt is metal zipper topped with button and hook and eye Material: fine grade wool, silk skirt lining and likely acetate jacket lining Decade: Late 1950s Brand/Tags: Lilli Ann Paris San Francisco, Livingston's Youngstown, Condition: Very good - lining has faint underarm stains shown in images - small snags where buttons and hook and eye were moved on skirt seen in image - has not been dry cleaned but appears very clean and just a slight dusty smell Measurements: (taken flat on exterior of suit and doubled when needed) Jacket: Bust - 36” Waist - 25” Shoulders - 15" Sleeve inseam - 16” Shoulder - Waist - 16 Length - 22” Skirt: Waist - 23" - 24" tight Hips - 35" Length - 24" Sweep - 35" Seam allowance - a good 5 inches for hips and solid 2" for waist Shipping: Once a package leaves my hands with USPS or UPS it is out of my control.
