Description: For the View Master Photographer & Collector MODEL F Lighted Viewer (no 2026) With LED bulb, plus Bonus Reel, as you see in the pictures This is considered the 2nd best View-Master viewer (after the model D, focusing viewer) and it is favorite of many 3D View-Master enthusiasts. It has nice lenses (plastic, not glass). Focus is fixed but accurate. Decent magnification. Light works well. Overall, an excellent View-Master viewing experience. I have serviced the viewer by cleaning the body, lenses, contacts. I have tested the viewer and it works great. Comes with an original bulb. Plus an LED bulb. Here are a few tips for using the viewer: To load the batteries, start by opening the viewer. There is a slot at the bottom. Use a coin and twist it. This will separate the two halves. The viewer takes a pair of C-size batteries (C, not D like many other viewers). Batteries are not included. Use alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Make sure that the batteries face in opposite directions. With the reflector in place, install each battery by inserting one end and pushing the other. The batteries should face in opposite directions. Their exact orientation does not matter with this bulb. To close the viewer, attach the top first and then close and push the button (it will click in place) Be careful with cleaning the lenses, they are plastic and scratch easily. Blow the dust and use a soft moistened tissue. If the light flickers, you need to clean the switch contacts. I use a piece of fine sandpaper, put it between the contacts, press the switch and move the paper around. This cleans one contact. Turn it around to clean the other. The batteries and light bulb contacts normally do not need cleaning. Enjoy this nice viewer!
