Description: These pants are marked Cotton, Field Pants size W 42 L 38, and dated 1945. There is also an M1951 Field trousers tag sewn into the waist. Also note the original cutters tag and tailors chalk as noted in the photos. Im guessing these pants began life as M1954 trousers but were converted or repurposed at the depot or factory. There is also an obvious stain on the rear and crotch area. I believe this was damaged while in storage The presence of the tailors chalk and cutters tag suggest they never issued or worn.
