Description: This is a Vintage, undated Pre-1931 copy of "The Works of Epictetus - His Discourses, in Four Books, the Enchiridion, and Fragments - Translated from the Greek by Thomas Wentworth Higginson - A New and Revised Edition - New York Thomas Nelson and Sons" (The copyright date is inferred from the fact that there is a note with a date of 1930 on it). We have been unable to find this edition anywhere on the internet. Other than a gift note names/markings on the endpapers, all of the pages are unmarked, and the binding is sound. The first 22 pages are a little bent (vertically), and one page has a thin crease/wrinkle mark across it. The cover (possibly Leather, or Imitation Leather of some sort) shows minor wear including minor tears on the outer edges of the front/rear paste-downs (note also, that for identification purposes, there is a code of "428" printed near the lower edge of the last page). The attached divider ribbon has minor wear, especially on its end. SEE PHOTOS.
