This album is historic as it documents the last and final reunion of the original Animals band members: Eric Burdon – vocals Alan Price – Keyboards, vocals Chas Chandler – bass, vocals Hilton Valentine – guitar John Steel – drumsPerforming at Wembley Arena on December 31, 1983, supporting the Police, this album wasreleased in 1984. With the exception of “It’s Too Late,” every song is drawn from the original 1960'srepertoire of this original band lineup. Animals bassist Chas Chandler changed Rock and Roll history forever when he discovered anunknown guitarist at the Café Wha? in New York’s Greenwich Village in July 1966, and introducedhim to the world. Most historians claim Jimi Hendrix would not have been a star were it notfor Chandler. Sadly when Chas Chandler died in 1996,the possibility of another original Animals reunionwas no longer possible. This is an historic live album.
