Description: This vintage Sawyer's Model 500XR slide projector is a great find for anyone interested in slide and movie projection. The unit is in great shape and comes with a box of 13 slide rotary slide wheels . It is a table top projection device that is compatible with 35 mm slides. The projector was manufactured in the 1960s in the United States. It is a great addition to any collection and would make a great gift for someone who is interested in film photography. This belonged to my parents and as a kid I am certain it was around in the 60s because there were about 500 hours of kid time spent looking at slides in our living room. Been in storage for a long time. So I think a good cleaning is in order. But it works, is complete and all functions are there. If you're into old photography tech you know a lot more than I do about this so ask any questions you may have as I really don't know what you vintage guys need to know about these. I don't know much about the technical aspects. I have a pic and a video that shows it works. Not sure the wattage of the bulb but it can heat your house in the wintertime too. :-).
