This means some may have been sitting in their box since they were manufactured and can be 10, 20 or up to 50 years old, or more. We are not magicians, so the box will have to be opened to do this. We will be happy to do that for you at no cost with your written request (email through eBay). 2) Any item that is NOS and was manufactured over 2 years ago (depending on the item) is AS-IS. We do not offer any Warranties or guarantees. If you are not sure if the item you are interested in has a warranty please ask before you buy. We will NOT effect or pay for repairs of any kind to antique and NOS items. True hobbyists and model railroaders know this, but unfortunately we have to put it in writing for those people who think we should pay them to participate in thier hobby. 3) Items manufactured less than 2 years ago (in some cases longer, ask us) are usually covered by the MANUFACTURER's Warranty. You can use your eBay invoice or receipt as proof of purchase and contact the manufacturer. WE ARE NOT THE MANUFACTURER, we are a reseller, we don't have a warranty. If you need assistance getting your item covered by the Manufacturer we will be happy to help you. 4) As a policy we do not normally accept returns. Some exceptions to this rule are if the item was actually damaged in shipping, is lost by the carrier or the very unlikely event you were shipped the wrong item. Other exceptions to this rule are at our discretion. If you contact us and we feel the problem warrants a return for some reason we will do that. Returns will always be ALL or NONE. We will not send you partial refunds for any reason. You must return the item in the same condition it was sent to you in. If we decide a return is appropriate you will send the item back to us first. Once it is received and inspected we will issue the appropriate refund. Be aware of what you are buying. Most model railroaders know, once the box on particular items have been opened they lose value. If you have a question about an item ask BEFORE you buy. ALL our items are subject to a 10% use charge at our discretion. 5) This is not our first rodeo, we are familiar with all the dirty schemes and fraudulent activities some eBayers like to pull. If we suspect you are abusing the eBay system, or us, we will absolutely report you to eBay, and if warranted, to the local authorities in your area. If you are not honest we will know and press charges. This includes, but is not limited to, sending back an item that is not the one we sent you, trying to get money from us for supposed repairs, sending us an item back that is not in it's original packaging or has been damaged by the buyer. These all fall under the internet retailers and postal fraud guidelines and you can be prosecuted for it. We can go on with the list, but most of you are honest and those who are not know full well what they are doing. 6) We can not and will not ship to an address different from the one listed on your account. We also can not ship to PO Boxes anymore (This is not our policy, it is eBay's new policy).
