Description: A late 17th or early 18th century Portrait Painting of a beautiful English Lady, circle of Sir Godfrey Kneeler. Several auction inventory numbers on stretcher both clearly seen and some covered by paper lining. Stretcher also has an indiscernible chalk notation of Lady ?. Well rendered with bold dress color. Painting has been restored and relined with scattered in painting throughout. Good condition overall for age with craquelure, paint loss to some corners, rub marks at edges, general surface wear, etc. Please see all photos for condition.
