Description: This is an aftermarket attachment for the DeWalt DW735 planer. Due to its size, the part arrives in 3 pieces that MUST be glued together using super glue or epoxy. This is the responsibility of the buyer (you). It is very easy to do because there are groove to easily alight the pieces. This is an aftermarket attachment that replaces the original dust port on the inside of the planer. Allowing the chips to be extracted directly off of the cutterhead with a dust collector. This part is intended for use with an actual dust collector and NOT a shop vacuum. A shop vac will NOT pull enough volume of air to work with this part. With this product you will have to remove the top cover of the planer and leave it off for the foreseeable future OR you can cut a hole in the top cover. Cutting the hole is entirely optional though.
