Complete Original JAMES BOND Road Race Set BOX Gilbert 007 Slot Car Manual RUNS

Description: This is the famous James Bond 007 Slot Car Set. Made By Gilbert and the Cars were made by Aurora. It's an O Gauge Car. There are 6 Life like scenery track pieces that connect together. 2 Cars and many little accessories. THE TRACK -I personally took the time to put the track together. Cleaned all the rails and attached the power transformer.It took two 12-hour days to get it running and connected. Each track has multiple connector track prongs. They have to be carefully connected. I had both lanes working and was able to drive the cars around the track. Sometimes they pop off, get stuck, fishtail. Inner lane is really running smooth. The outer lane might need a bit more cleaning. One rail on the mountain section will stick up. But when you connect it, it holds it down correctly. The prongs might need more cleaning. The prongs can break if you don't insert them correctly. They will bend the wrong way. do not oil the track or communicators on the cars. light sandpaper and track eraser work well. Top right track section was cleaned but still has some oxidation (rust). THE CARS- I dismantled each car and reassembled. Everything cleaned and oiled. Cars are running great. The mustang is running very strong. The Red Austin Martin runs well but not as strong as the mustang. Both chassis do run well. The Electronics- Each Lane has a red handle controller. They Both function and run slow or fast Excelleration. There is a lights the run thru the bottom of the track thru 3 holes in the track layout. They were tested on the transformer and are working. They initially turn on and stay on, after about 5 seconds, they blink. The transformer only has two screws. The white on one side and the black on the other. If you hook them up wrong. The cars go in the opposite direction. The light also hooks up the same. The Box- Overall The box in mostly there. The front has the nice picture with 007 James Bond (SEAN CONNERY) The most Iconic Bond. This is the rarer box. The box does have extensive tape repairs on the inside and outside. Okay, I have looked on Ebay. This is the only set thoroughly tested and cleaned. Cars running and everything tested. These sets were not made long. Due to being returned because they were glitchy. This also come with the original Manual, Instructions and light kit instructions and car instructions. These are not copy's Please see pictures for visual inspection. I would say 99% complete. I would expect this will take some time and patience to assemble. This is being sold as is due the fragility of this item. This will be packed professionally. a few of the box inserts are intact and the car box and wrapper are still included. Trees, track clips signs rails mini rail extinguisher car lift signs are all included.I added a finish line. one flagpole is glued. Okay. This is sold as is. But really runs. I will post a video.
