Description: "11/14/2017" GM has now listed these as Discontinued so the end is coming! Here we have a Brand New Genuine GM Front Door Outer Molding / Sweep / Welt. This is sealed in the factory wrapper and you will receive the Right side ONLY (Passengers side). It was made to fit a 1970-1981 Pontiac Trans Am, Pontiac Firebird or Chevrolet Camaro. It goes on the outside of the door against the glass to keep the rain from running down into the doors. It also has the chrome bead on the edge as seen in the pictures. It may be time to replace your missing or damaged one while it is still available from GM. It is only a matter of time before this part becomes Obsolete like so many other Camaro and Firebird parts already have (including the Inner Molding / Sweep / Welt to match this which are No Longer Available from GM). I just learned that the original part numbers for the 1970 Camaro Sweeps are Discontinued and they had a wider chrome trim. They are no longer available and have been superceded by the parts numbers we are offering but these have a narrower chrome trim. They will fit perfectly on your 1970 Camaro but the chrome is not as wide as the original parts. I am not sure when the change actually takes effect on what years so I am just letting you know that these are the narrow chrome trim. Thanks for looking.
