Description: Up for auction is a Borealis Bull Shark V2 automatic watch with a black bezel and white dial from the micro brand Borealis based in Portugal. The watch was purchased new in April of 2023 (original owner). It was only worn a few times as part of large 50+ watch collection and is in mint condition (9/10). These are currently being sold on the Borealis website for $495 USD (~ $715 CAD). My piece is in nearly brand new condition and you have the added benefit of knowing it's timekeeping is excellent for a Miyota 9039 movement. The Borealis Bull Shark V2 is a 300M (30 Atmos) rated diver which is a homage to the vintage 6538 Subs from the 1950's. This version (model BBSV2AE) features Mercedes style hands and features a 38mm stainless steel case and bracelet, a double domed sapphire crystal, gloss black lumed ceramic bezel insert, unidirectional rotating diver's bezel, blue glowing BGW9 lume (on the hands, indices and bezel insert), screw-down signed crown, screw-in embossed caseback and a beautiful white textured dial. This no-date movement features the Miyota 9039 24-jewel movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with approximately 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The watch is 38mm in diameter (excluding the crown), approximately 47mm lug to lug (length/wingspan) and 12.6mm thick (including the crystal) with a 20mm lug width.
