I had used mink oil to waterproof my fine leather boots in the past, but I wasn't happy with the overall results. This included a discernible smell that wasn't the most pleasant to my senses. Blackrock Leather N Rich is just what I was looking for. in a leather maintenance product. It's easy to apply and when used as directed, a "little" does indeed go a long way.. There is no annoying smell (very pleasant / natural)) and it brought my boots back to the original color (saddle) without overly darkening them. Also, the leather turned softer and more supple than it was prior to the application.
