Description: This is a very unusual artisan necklace which I bought several years ago directly from the artist. It is a large pendant with a three part design. The top is a cameo of an owl in the style of historical cameos. It is carved of shell and attached to a greenish stone. Right below is a piece of druzy quartz in pink and below that is a pearl. The artist who made this said it was a real Pearl but I have no way of testing this. There is a hard to read makers mark on the rear and it has tested positive for Sterling. The chain is 28” long and the pendant is 3” long in addition. The width of the pendant is 1.75” across widest part and it weighs 45.8 grams with the chain.
