Description: For your consideration: a pair bottle lot of bluing bottles from Philadelphia, PA. They were both blown in aqua glass batch into two-part private molds and finished with hand-tooled ring lips in the 1880's era. These were recovered in a Philadelphia privy excavation in the last year. They are in good dug condition. "Bartlett's Liquid Blueing / H. A. Bartlett & Co. / Philada". It shows light spotty haze and a chips on the reverse ring lip, as seen. Also, a small ping on the center reverse heel. Otherwise structurally solid. Cool mold artidact on the frontal heel. It measures: 3 7/7" x 1 15/16" x 7/8"+. "Sawyer's Crystal Blueing". It is in very good dug condition with only some light ground wear. Nice scattered bubbles and crude surfaces. Nice linear stretching in the neck. Bold crisp embossing. It measures: 5 5/16" x 2 1/4"+ x 1 3/16".
