Description: Here's a fine old 10" drawknife from the James Swan Tool Company of Seymour, Connecticut. Total length is 15-1/2"; the handles are 4-1/2" long. Overall condition is very good.The blade is stamped "10" and has the Swan logo, which is faded and hard to read - see pic #9. There is overall moderate pitting. The blade also has some chips and needs to be reground and sharpened.The wood handles and steel ferrules are solid with just surface marks, stains, and a few nicks. They have a great patina.
