Description: Antique Edwardian Diamond Monogram Stick Pin 18K Platinum Anna Alexandra This is a very rare treasure that will make the most luxurious of gifts. The stick pin was made pre-revolution. There are no markings, I think the stick itself is a later addition and it used to be a scatter pin (you can see the remnants of it in the back). There is a beautiful diamond and ruby monogram motif. There is a letter A and two intertwined letters C. I am guessing it could be Empress Anna Ioannovna or Alexandra or Anastasia. Judging by the quality of this piece, I can promise you, it was in some very prominent person's collection. The top portion is also decorated with a Monomakh's Cap and a Cross with genuine rubies. There is a picture of FABERGE catalog, you will find the exact same symbol there. The pin top is crafted in platinum (tested and guaranteed) and the rest is 18K gold. There are very white old European cut and single cut diamonds set in a gorgeous assemble. There are 21 diamonds, about 1 point each. The diamonds are set against a blue translucent stone. It is possibly a synthetic sapphire or could be glass. It is bright deep blue. Breathtaking treasure!! The pin's head measures 17.53mm x 11.83mm. The weight is 3.8 grams.
