Description: This auction is for a photo of Dean Moon's Supercharged Chevy Powered A/Dragster named "MOONEYES" at the 1st NHRA US NATIONALS that was held held at INDY in 1961. Dean Moon is pictured with his back to the camera,with his Cowboy Hat and "Mooneyes " Logo Tee Shirt . INDY was to become the permanent site for the NHRA US NATIONALS . This Dragster's chassis was built by Dode Martin at DRAGMASTERS . Gary Cagle drove the car . The "MOONEYES" logo was the creation of an employee of Walt Disney Studios . Dean Moon passed away in 1987 at 60 years old. This car now resides in the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing,in Ocala,Florida . The photo is made from my Original dated OCT 1961 on 4" x 6" Premium Photo Paper. The photo is a little fuzzy . US Property Copyright Laws apply. The white strip will not be in the photo sent.
